Just north of Carmangay in a little prairie town At Stone Creek trailer park lived the meanest man around He'd shoot his pistol through the window three sheets to the wind I couldn't help but hear it cause I was living next to him His wife was fair and pretty but she never said a word And he often told his wife and dog "You're better seen than heard" One day I bumped in to him with a barking burlap sack I said "Where you going?" he said "Taking out the trash" On a dark and stormy Monday I smelled the violence in the air I overheard him shouting bout an alleged affair Like an eager worked up reader I was anxious for the plot But my meddling would be halted with the ringing of a shot I thought this can't be happening now this is too far gone I ran over to his trailer to see what was going on He met me in the driveway with a bigger burlap sack I cried "What the hell you doing?" he said "Taking out the trash" I tried to call the police but the phone lines were down A twister took them out from the north end of town I never seen it coming, I had no time to react It brushed right by my front porch leaving everything intact It aimed toward the trailer of the meanest man around It sent him up to Jesus then it spit him to the ground What ever was remaining was scattered round like ash That twister wasn't playing it was taking out the trash
